Fall Fishing Was Hot
Capt. Will Thursday, December 15, 2016
What an epic fall. Thanks to everyone that fished with Bounty Hunter Guide Service this year! I hope to see y'all again in the future.
Fishing has been so entertaining this fall. Only bad part was trying to decide what to fish for. Everything has been biting, but we love the false albacore, speckled trout and red drum around here. Ever since the tropical system that moved through and slowed down our awesome giant red drum catching in the Neuse River, we moved back to the Cape and started pursuing Albacore and Spanish Mackerel on fly and light tackle at the early season of the Fall blitz. Then the speckled trout fishing fired off with a bang at the end of September and has been great through the fall and leading into winter. The giant ocean going red drum decided they wanted to play multiple times too, which was awesome.
Can't really complain about how this year has gone. Although, I have already made my new years resolution, which is to update this fishing report more often.
Again, thanks to everyone that has fished with us and those thinking about fishing with us in the future! Couldn't do it without all of you.
As always, tight lines,
